A Boots on the Ground Coverage of a Native American Community

This was a paid client project for a US-based production exploring Indigenous knowledge and traditions within Secwepemc’úlew. The documentary focuses on the perspectives of both Elders and younger community members, covering cultural teachings alongside practical skills such as hunting and land-based knowledge.
My role covered the full post-production pipeline, including ingesting and organising approximately 0.5TB of footage, creating and managing proxy workflows for efficient editing, and shaping the narrative structure in line with the client’s brief. I also handled full picture post-production, including editing, colour grading, audio balancing, and music integration.
The project required close attention to cultural sensitivity, narrative clarity, and technical efficiency, delivering a polished final film to a professional standard for a paying international client.
